3 hands · at once · 25s a hand
Three to five cards are dealt: club, nationality, position, league, age or market value. You both name ONE player AT THE SAME TIME; when the hand closes both names open and each scores as many points as cards it fits. You see that your rival has answered, never what they wrote. Every hand has an answer that fits ALL the cards - it is revealed at the end.
Step by step
- The traits in play are on the table.
- Every card you match scores you a point.

Matchmaking decides which game you play; both players get the same one.
Where the questions come from
Every question and clue is generated from real records in the Derby Duel database. Real match results, squads and season statistics collected from the leagues and cups of 6 countries - no value is estimated, and nothing that is not in the source turns up in the game.
Tips for How Many
- Find the most selective card first (a specific club or a narrow age band), then look among the players who fit it for one that fits the other cards too.
- Every hand has at least one answer that fits all the cards. A player who fits four cards scores twice as much as a safe two-card answer.
- You both answer at the same time and a hand lasts 25 seconds. Waiting for your opponent gains nothing; spend the time hunting for the name that fits the most cards.
