A target player sits on screen with their numbers hidden. The categories open one at a time (goals, assists, matches, age, nationality) and in each one you both write ONE name AT THE SAME TIME. When the category closes both names open: the target's real number shows and whoever came closer takes the category. You see that your rival has written, never what - and you can both write the same name. Each name counts only once in your own squad. Goals, assists and matches are whole-career totals, not a single season.
How do you win Career Twin?
Winning a category scores one point; hitting the target number EXACTLY scores two. The higher total takes the match.
Matchmaking decides which game you play; both players get the same one.
Where the questions come from
Every question and clue is generated from real records in the Derby Duel database. Real match results, squads and season statistics collected from the leagues and cups of six countries - no value is estimated, and nothing that is not in the source turns up in the game.
